The sizes listed is the actual size of the total stencil lettering, not including the outer edge of the mylar material. We add 1" on the outer boarder at top/bottom/and each side of each stencil to secure the design.
SIZING EXAMPLES:
Your Board size 12"x12" Square- Order 10"x10" Stencil Size
Your Board Size 12" Wide x 14" Tall- Order a 10" Wide x 12" Stencil Size
The 18"x18" will arrive in 2 easy to stencil pieces.
