What are the lines on my stencil?
These lines are called "bridges" which are necessary to support the stencils artwork. Without the bridges a stencil would simply fall apart or be far to floppy to work with. We try to limit the amount of "bridges" on each design however we wish to provide a quality product that can be used many times over for our sign crafters. You can illiminate the space of the bridges by using a thin art brush and fill in the bridges with the same color paint you use on the design to make them disappear.
How can I order a Custom Stencil?
Please contact us by email through our Contact Page at the top of our HOME page. We'd be happy to discuss what you have in mind for your special project.
Please have the width of your space <--> and height in inches to give us an idea of the space you will have available to create.
Unless your custom order is owned by you, like a business logo or we use your artwork, all finished products shall remain the property of Superior Stencils as we do not charge for custom design time.
How much does it cost to ship my order?
Shipping is $4.50 per item and .50 cents per additional items. We do offer FREE Domestic shipping on orders for USA shipments through USPS for orders $35.00 or more. We can also ship UPS upon request. UPS cost is $12.50 which will be added to your order for this special service and must be paid prior to your order being shipped to you. Orders that are shipped to Canada are $20.20 which is the current costs for Canadian International shipping by way of USPS as of Jan. 2021.
When will my order ship out? Shipping Policy
We ship within 5 business days from the time your order is received USPS. All orders are cut at the time your order is filled. We have over 1,500 designs and those designs have varying sizes which explains why we DO NOT STOCK STENCILS.
Your order is cut to order upon receipt of your purchase. If you require a RUSH ORDER please contact us prior to ordering for availability to fill your order as a RUSH.
Do you ship outside of the USA?
We do ship to Canada. Please note our shipping rates prior to purchasing. If there are any tax fees you will be responsible for those fees when picking up your order in Canada.
Can I exchange/return my item? Exchange Policy
Exchanges & Returns are allowed on some products as restrictions do apply. Please email us prior to shipping back your order. You will be responsible for shipping costs to return the stencil back to us and for us to reship your exchanged item back to you.
Your item must be in its original condition and you must request an exchange within 5 Business Days of shipment delivery.
Please include the original receipt and order number with your return.
NO EXCHANGES/RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED ON: CUSTOM ORDERS/ Alphabets larger than 4" / Numbers larger than 4" unless we've made an error on your order. In that case we're happy to accept your return for an exchange to the size you ordered.
Lost or stolen items
Superior Stencils is not responsible for lost or stolen packages or shipping issues once the package leaves our shop.
When your package leaves our shop, the responsibility lies with the shipping carrier. Please watch the tracking information in your shipment email for updates on the location of your order.
The carrier will usually determine if your package can be left in a safe secure place at your delivery address.
